چکیده
Low-temperature atmospheric pressure plasma technology has been used in agriculture and plant science by direct indirect treatment of bio-samples. However, the cellular molecular mechanisms affected plasma-activated water (PAW) are largely unexplored. In this study, PAW generated from a surface dielectric barrier discharge (SDBD) device was for development. Physicochemical analysis performed to confirm properties that correlated with time. Arabidopsis thaliana L. utilized study effect early developmental stage. The samples denoted as PAW5 time minutes (min), PAW7 min, PAW12 PAW19 min PAW40 Seedlings grown PAW5, had increased root lengths while were decreased PAW40. level observation, specifically hair numbers per unit but suppressed length PAW, indicating mainly modulates cell density root. Furthermore, we found at maximal observed conditions positively regulated developmental-related genes including COBRA-LIKE9 (COBL9), XYLOGLUCAN ENDOTRANSGLUCOSYLASE/HYDROLASE9 (XTH9), XTH17, AUXIN1 (AUX1) LIKE-AUXIN (LAX3).

Root Hair Growth in Arabidopsis thaliana
We study the factors that affect the root hair growth in the Arabidopsis thaliana plant. From experimental data, we measure how the average velocities of growth and tip shapes of the root hairs are affected by pressure and nutrients. Then using a biomechanical model, we can compute the physical parameters of the root hair and aim to correlate our model with experiments by using image processing...
متن کاملGenetic Control of Root Hair Development in Arabidopsis thaliana.
Visual examination of roots from 12,000 mutagenized Arabidopsis seedlings has led to the identification of more than 40 mutants impaired in root hair morphogenesis. Mutants from four phenotypic classes have been characterized in detail, and genetic tests show that these result from single nuclear recessive mutations in four different genes designated RHD1, RHD2, RHD3, and RHD4. The phenotypic a...
متن کاملIncreased root hair density by loss of WRKY6 in Arabidopsis thaliana
Root hairs are unicellular elongations of certain rhizodermal cells that improve the uptake of sparingly soluble and immobile soil nutrients. Among different Arabidopsis thaliana genotypes, root hair density, length and the local acclimation to low inorganic phosphate (Pi) differs considerably, when analyzed on split agar plates. Here, genome-wide association fine mapping identified significant...
متن کاملRoot hair defective4 encodes a phosphatidylinositol-4-phosphate phosphatase required for proper root hair development in Arabidopsis thaliana.
Polarized expansion of root hair cells in Arabidopsis thaliana is improperly controlled in root hair-defective rhd4-1 mutant plants, resulting in root hairs that are shorter and randomly form bulges along their length. Using time-lapse fluorescence microscopy in rhd4-1 root hairs, we analyzed membrane dynamics after labeling with RabA4b, a marker for polarized membrane trafficking in root hairs...
متن کاملMyosin XIK of Arabidopsis thaliana Accumulates at the Root Hair Tip and Is Required for Fast Root Hair Growth
Myosin motor proteins are thought to carry out important functions in the establishment and maintenance of cell polarity by moving cellular components such as organelles, vesicles, or protein complexes along the actin cytoskeleton. In Arabidopsis thaliana, disruption of the myosin XIK gene leads to reduced elongation of the highly polar root hairs, suggesting that the encoded motor protein is i...
